History
Kawazaki Arsenal
Arisaka originated as the Kawazaki Arsenal. Founded in 1730, the Kawazaki Arsenal was one of the first factories in Yamatai, dedicated to producing the new Torii Musket for the Yamatai Imperial Army. The Kawazaki Arsenal was built around a complex that was responsible for making gunpowder, supplied with saltpetre from the nearby Kawazaki Bat Caves, and had been a major supplier of the Imperial Army during the Second Yamataian Civil War.
Privatisation
After the Second Escar-Varunan War, the Kawazaki Arsenal was privatised under former General Arisaka Kijiro.
