Kinai Metropolitan Area

The Kinai Metropolitan Area, also known as the HiHeiShi Area, is a metropolitan region on Akitsukuni in Yamatai, centred on the capital city of Heian and encompassing various cities within Kinai Province. The entire region has a population of over 19,341,900 over an area of 13,033 km². It is the second-most-populated urban region in Yamatai, after the Greater Niihama Area, and contains approximately 15% of Yamatai's population.

The GDP in the Kinai Area is 円681 billion as measured by PPP as of 2015, making it one of the world's most productive regions.

Cities

The Kinai Metropolitan Area is centred on the Yamataian capital city of Heian. In addition, it also includes the following cities:

  • Heian
  • Shinagawa, Kinai - The port of Shinagawa is a major port. The bay it is on is called Ise Bay. As in Ise Layla. Lol
  • Higane, Kinai - Located on the Higane Peninsula to the south-west of Yamatai, it's another port and has a huge chemicals and manufacturing industry.
  • Kouya, Kinai - A cultured city with lots of history, in recent years the city has become a centre of tourism and also animation companies.
  • Yamanote, Kinai - This is located close to Mount Aozora, a mountain significant in Yamataian culture. It also does some manufacturing stuff, but the main industry is tourism.
  • Miyako, Kinai - A culturally significant city in the mountains, Miyako's main industry is tourism as well as some rare earth mining.
