Pachdonia Incident

The "Pachdonia Incident" is a diplomatic run-in between the Empire of New Hyspania, then under the control of Eutanasio, and the nascent Proletarian Union of Valourium. New Hyspania seized the Valourian shipping freighter Pachodnia under the false pretense that the syndicalist regime in Valourium was sending arms to ???. After New Hyspania refused to return the vessel, representatives of Valourium, knowing the state had no viable military means of reacquiring the Pachdonia, threatened to raise rebellions in New Hyspania until the state could no longer function. This made Valourium an explicit enemy of New Hyspania at the time and contributed to the open hostilities between the two during the Endwar.
