Edruekseg is arguably the center of Duthic civilization. It remains the largest celestial body in the Duthic Stretch by population and economic output, as well as one of the most important cultural and political centers of the Stretch. Edrueskeg is the seat of the Torgdaar (the representative assembly of Duthic civilization) as well as the seat of power of the Hallowed Authority. It also plays host to thousands of large organizations, including notably the Thrall-Guilds and the Eseimonoke Daarsgnilekkiwtno.
The Edruekseg System, being continually inhabited by a spacefaring civilization for the past 90,000 years, has built up significant infrastructure. The five planetary bodies of the system, including two gas giants, are all inhabited in some way or another. The inner oort cloud of the system is also one of the most heavily militarized oort clouds in the Stretch. Both gas giants are currently dotted with mining stations as well as populations reaching in the tens of millions. On Edruekseg itself, the planet has been built up by five encompassing shells, with an average distance of 40 km between each. The exterior of the 5th shell is host to some of the largest manufacturing complexes in the Stretch, as well as several dozen spaceport conglomerations.
